The Odd Women Podcast
In May 2021, my colleague and I started a podcast to share our scholarship and research with a broader audience. Here is a description of our project: "Each week, The Odd Women Podcast brings the past to you. We answer the questions you’ve always (or never) had about the people, stories, and things of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Ranging from matters of imperial and political upheaval to the fashions of impractical dress, we listen for the echoes of the past in our daily lives. With this podcast, we hope to make our little corner of the humanities accessible to anyone and everyone who will listen."

ConnectiviTEAS Podcast
During the National Humanities Center's Virtual Podcasting Institute, I worked with 3 other amazing scholars to develop, record, and edit a podcast episode. Though we all came from different academic disciplines, we found common ground over tea. While we are still in the process of publishing the episode, here is a description of our project: "What were some times when tea took you to a new place, a special place, or shaped the learning of a life lesson? Connectiviteas is a podcast brought to you by four graduate students who reflect on the ways in which tea, tea drinking, and rituals of hospitality can create meaningful connections across time and space. In this episode, we invite you to steep with us on interpersonal connections, community, and personal identity."
Project Management & Planning Tools
For my personal projects, agenda, and planning, I use a combination of paper planning systems by Erin Condren. I like to create my own stickers and event labels to customize agenda spreads to better suit my needs.
These are planner stickers I designed, printed, and cut on my Silhouette Cameo 4.
I designed, printed, and cut all stickers shown here.

Small Business
Bean Pup Boutique, LLC
Bean Pup Boutique is my Etsy shop specializing in handmade pet enrichment toys and gifts and named after my corgi, Bean. I created this shop at the end of 2020 after I received a surge of requests for my treat-dispensing puzzle toy (the Snuffle Ball) on Facebook. In the last year, I have been invited to create pop-up shops at special events across Georgia. My products are now available in two Puppy Pantry locations in addition to my online retail venue.

Writing Center Renovation & Redesign
In December 2021, I volunteered to renovate and redesign the central location of the Writing Center on UGA's campus. With a limited budget, a Dewalt 20-volt Max drill, and can-do attitudes, my best friend and I transformed the space ourselves. From painting walls and furniture to carpeting the room and building chairs and picking out decorative accessories and office supplies, we did it all. The only thing we could not do by ourselves was replace the door lock with an electronic keypad lock, but we tried our absolute hardest before accepting that neither of us were or would ever become expert locksmiths.
